Ma'at and Isfet : Egyptian Stamps

Finding the balance between chaos and order in design was my main take away from this project. The best way I find to create anything is by increasing the quantity of ideas until you start creating chaos. Complexity is a natural step of creation. Once you reach that point you will start to notice order by organizing your ideas around. As a designer it is my job to discover the hidden structure and produce my interpretation of order in my world of chaos.

The Egyptians core structure was to maintain Ma ’at, by taking chaos and churning it into order. Egyptians were very graphical communicators they are known for their hieroglyphic script along with their papyrus art in which they would narrate stories of the past. Like the Egyptians I have reiterated some visuals using watercolours to create a similar effect of paint on papyrus. Narrating some crucial imagery of Ma ’at and Isfet.
Projected self-image ( Anubis along with turning chaos into order)
Goddess Ma'at maintainer of Order
Isfet embody of Chaos
Ancient Egypt is created on the base of Chaos ( river Nile containing Order)
Egypt (land of the living) and Duat (land of the dead)
Balancing of the heart ceremony against Ma'at ( Anubis and Amit the devourer )

Thank You.
