We were tasked with developing a logo for a new initiative by PRCA MENA – Taa Marbouta.
This initiative is dedicated to promoting female mentorship in the PR industry, so they named
the program after the Arabic letter ة (Taa-Mar-boo-ta). In Arabic this letter transforms masculine
words into feminine. For instance, the word for mentor in arabic is masculine by default - مرشد
(Mur-shid). But by simply adding a ة to the end of it, it becomes feminine: مرشدة (Mur-shid-aa).
So we created a logo from Taa Marbouta the letter ( ة ) that resembles a female mentor and mentee.
