INVISIBLE STRUCTURES
The project is a critical analysis about some of the best known topics of the Seventies Italian Design. In these thirty-two pages are explained the reasons that led the country to play a central role in the international scene, with particular reference to the exhibition Italy: The New Domestic Landscape held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1972. This analysis was carried out by making a comparison with Lucius Burckhardt’s theories around the theme of Invisible Design, central issue of the homonym essay published by the sociologist in 1980.
