ADVERTISING FOR ADVERTISING...

Shooting video billboards for WOW Media was unlike any other job I've had. The billboards are located around the LAX airport in Southern California, which is not the most visually appealing area. WOW wanted to highlight traffic volume in these locations, more cars equal higher ad buys. I choose to shoot at twilight to enhance the illuminated billboard and vehicles, while darkening distracting details. Luckily it was winter in Los Angeles so rush hour and dusk timed out perfectly. For WOW's interactive deck and website we created a few cinemagraphs.
