As a Union College Student Graphic Designer, I created the layout, illustrations, and overall look for the 2013 President's Report. The goal was to reach all of our audiences, young and old, so we chose fresh colors with a clean, simple layout.
Here is an example of a spread using the blue color with a white photo overlay to make the text pop out. Below is the same concept but with orange as the document flowed into a new topic.
One of the goals of the President's Report is to show how donor's gifts have been distributed. I created this graphic to be both asthetically pleasing and easy to read. Below is the same concept but to represent to designation of gifts rather than source. To make the piece more personable we added in photos that provides a transition from text to graphic.
