For this project, we were assigned an exhibition as well as a museum where the exhibition would take place. The exhibition was titled Degree Zero: Drawing at Midcentury and my museum was the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth (The Modern) in Texas. Degree Zero: Drawing at Midcentury is an exhibition about artists who used drawing as a way to forge a new visual language in the aftermath of World War II. My museum was dedicated to collecting, presenting, and interpreting international developments in post–World War II art. In this project, I aimed to communicate the feeling of emptiness reflected in Degree Zero while being appropriate to my museum.

I overall decided to use a monochrome color scheme to illustrate the idea of starting over. In addition to this, The Modern is a modern art museum whose visual identity is  sophisticated and natural with a concrete architecture exterior. Therefore, the exhibition would fit well within my museum. My stage graphic uses abstract geometric shapes and alludes to one of the pieces from the exhibition titled "Study for La Combe II" by Ellsworth Kelly. I follow a 5 column grid structure in both my stage graphic and touchscreen panels. The typography I use is Source Sans Pro which looks rational and geometric. It provides a contemporary and design feel to my museum identity and connects with my Museum's logo and visual identity.  My touchscreen panels are based on a webpage layout and the user is able to single scroll to information such as the schedule or exhibition information.
