Exploring A Dual Immersion Education

In the heart of OKC comes a new way of bringing a community together, Western Gateway Elementary, a dual immersion school set on bringing students of different backgrounds together. Faced with the challenge of navigating uncharted waters, this modern vision of education, our team played with the themes of exploration and adventure. Inspired by the simple, but complex points of a compasses combined with friendly colors we created a playful brand that evokes the excitement of this educational journey. This project also brought on the challenge of developing the school mascot. Being home to the first zoo in Oklahoma we developed the fun and approachable bear, El Oso, to be the traveling school mascot.
