The Make the World a Better Place Design Challenge was put out to software and hardware engineers around the world. Participating engineers were sent a development kit from one of the sponsors and were required to use the kit to develop a solution that would have a positive impact on the world and they could then win prizes based on the effectiveness of their designs.

The challenge required an identity design, website, and promotional concepts for advertising.
