Wheel Pro’s Brad Wade represents the “everyman” of automotive racing. The Long Beach, California, driver is an advocate of the Toyota Performance platform who has taken on the 10-plus hour GTLM-Class challenge in a modified 2007 Toyota Supra GT. The Off Road Evolution team also organizes the annual Feel Like a Pro Experience, a closed course 3 day training seminar for beginners, intermediate and pro drivers.
While Brad is not out racing or instructing at his racing school he’s looking for new ways to improve his business. Not coming from a technical background he looks to simple tools that will help improve the digital prototyping process and getting designs into production faster meeting an increasingly demanding market.
Recently Brad looks to Autodesks products and services. He needs the ability to quickly compare design variations, by way of materials, colors and overall design aesthetic. He needs the ability to change colors and materials that accurately depict what the final product will look like. While performance is at the forefront of his objectives, design plays a huge part in capturing his intended audience.
Using 360 products such as Fusion 360, Render 360 and Prooflab can help expedite the design process. As well as allow him to collaborate with his colleagues for faster feedback and iteration of product design. Getting designs from concept to production faster. Simultaneously, these tools will allow him to increase his marketing effort. Chris is a Sr. Product Designer at New Deal Design. He’s worked at a couple of small design shops in the San Francisco Bay Area and larger companies such as Apple and Hitachi. He’s currently working at an SF based design agency New Deal Design. He designs anything from Wearable consumer products to charging stations for alternative energy vehicles. Product renderings are at the core of what he does on a daily basis. Things he uses renderings for regularly are internal and client reviews, digital prototyping prior to physical prototypes and final renders used for client marketing material and New Deal Design case studies.
Chris loves MotorX, down hill mountain biking, and “Trial” Riding. Overall he’s pretty active with work and his personal life. Often times you’ll find him tinkering with prototypes in the agency shop.

Material 360
Material 360 is an asset ecosystem with social and group project capabilities which allows users and manufacturers to create high quality material content and distribute it. This system backs Prooflab, Fusion 360, and will ultimately be used in our public gallery forums as associated data. It is also a means to replace the current material system known as Protein, and deliver regularly updated or created content to all Autodesk desktop, mobile, and cloud applications.

The Render Gallery is the public facing social platform for users to showcase their work. It’s also an entry point into the core cloud rendering service.
Render 360 and L.M.V. Integration
RaaS LMV integration is where we inject our services into the Autodesk 360 service. What you’re seeing in the prototype below are contextually driven lenses(filters). These lenses allow us to carve out a module specific to rendering here. Next to the Large Model Viewer we are displaying rendered thumbnails.
Additional functionality such as choosing new shots to render, render settings presets, large preview image of the render, and the ability to launch/ bump out to another tab in an interactive session for High Quality Visualization in “Prooflab”.
Render 360 and Fusion 360 Integration
Here we’re seeing similar cloud rendering capabilities but in a thick client editor. Same underlying render data just injected into a different product.
