”Mote” magazine was a school assignment where we had to make a magazine based on one of three themes. I chose to create a magazine mainly about fashion. I chose to create a fashion magazine because almost every fashion magazine that you find in stores today are crowded with content. I wanted to take the opportunity to create a unique magazine that was stripped of unnecessary information. With that in mind I chose to combine images and various drawing techniques to create a more personal and individual magazine that is easy to grasp, and easy to read.

 

The size of the magazine is unique compared to standard magazines. To make the magazine stand out from the rest, I chose to make it in a bigger size than normal; 24 cm x 32 cm. This way the magazine would stand out, and be visible even though it was placed behind something else.
