IDEATION & PROBLEM SOLVING

I was tasked with creating an investment platform for retirees who are not tech savvy and require something that is going to allow them to make adjustments as easily as possible and give them confidence in their interactions. I started out with a low fidelity sketch to figure out what the needs for this project would be, and to explore some ideas. I knew immediately to keep things as simple as possible, the less there is, the less room for confusion. Buttons are labelled to minimize confusion. I also wanted to make sure that confirmations, and error protections were put into place throughout the app to prevent user errors. For me consistency with the buttons, and motifs of - and + was extremely important to keep things simple and less confusing.
