About Issue 01:
This Magazine offers a place where classic art and photography can be seen from an equal perspective. I want to bring the reader closer to the relationship between those two fantastic mediums.
To bring more variety and different opinions into this Issue I featured a number of different artists from both fields in this magazine in short Interviews about the perception on this topic.

About following Issue's:
Äquivalent is the german translation from Equivalent, and the reason why I chose this title for the magazine is to underline the equal point of view between Photography and Art (Painting media). One of my favourite quotes by Alfred Stieglitz about equivalent is: “Every photograph has an equivalent idea or emotion attached to it”. 
Nevertheless, to avoid the general wide range of both photography and art, I wanted to focus deeply only on impressionism and pictoralisim in this first Issue. The following Issues would take different art eras as their main content, Issue two would be for example focusing on Surrealism.
