[PT] A proposta era criar um redesign para um dos clássicos da literatura 
brasileira em forma de edição especial. O livro escolhido foi "Capitães da Areia" uma das grandes obras de Jorge Amado. A Ilustração da capa é inspirada em um dos capítulos do livro: “O carrossel”.  Ele tem grande carga emocional e é lembrado por muitos leitores já que escancara que os personagens constantemente marginalizados são, afinal, apenas crianças. Com traço manual e sem almejar perfeição, a ilustração busca dialogar com a história.

[EN] The proposal was to create a redesign for one of the classics of Brazilian literature in the form of a special edition. The chosen book was "Capitães da Areia," one of Jorge Amado's great works. The cover illustration is inspired by one of the book's chapters: "The Carousel." It holds significant emotional weight and is remembered by many readers as it unveils that the characters, often marginalized, are, after all, just children. With a hand-drawn style and without aiming for perfection, the illustration seeks to engage in a dialogue with the story.

[PT] A paleta de cores teve inspiração na praia, onde as cores complementares laranja e azul são utilizadas para criar um maior contraste e direcionar nosso olhar ao personagem.

[EN] The color palette drew inspiration from the beach, where complementary colors orange and blue are employed to create greater contrast and guide our gaze towards the character.

[PT] As tipografias escolhidas procuram se aproximar a tipografia utilizada em jornais da época, fazendo referência ao enredo da obra.

[EN] The chosen typefaces seek to resemble the typography used in newspapers of the time, referencing the storyline of the work.
