Media-Wall - Fictional User Interface

During summer of 2013 I worked on a fictional user interface for a 2x3 monitor wall.
The "FHP-Infoboard" will be installed in the foyer of University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, providing the campus, teachers, students and visitors with a diversity of information about the university, campus-life etc.

My project aims to simulate a reboot of the entire system. I really enjoyed taking a deeper look into fictional user interfaces which helped me creating this visualization.
I´m trying to arrange various info-graphic elements in a way that combines abstract graphics with images that contain "real" information.
On the one side there are elements that don´t represent any real data - flickering dots, scales and graphs. Also blueprints of the campus´ buidlings or a wiring diagram can be seen.
On the other side the observing viewer can find information about the various input devices, the software backend, the playlists or the online-sources of the system. By this the viewer learns more about what´s "under the hood" of those 6 screens.

The 2 minute video will find its place in the daily playlist at a specific time every day.
