Outdoor Advertising
Would cities be more aesthetically pleasing without outdoor advertisements?
For this year-long university project I looked into whether cities would be more visually-pleasing places if there were no billboards, bus stop ads, etc. One of the main things I researched was the city of Sao Paulo, which completely banned outdoor advertising in 2007.
