Tasks: Create a website that provided a platform for children living with epilepsy and their parents to connect, learn, and be inspired.
Aside: Studies show that children with chronic medical conditions have higher reported rates of poor quality of life than typical children, and that the primary reason is not always the illness itself, but the lack of social support and understanding. Epilepsy Kids Connect is a website I designed for children living with epilepsy to improve their quality of life through connecting with other children and diminishing stigma through education and empowerment.
