BACKGROUND

IkamvaYouth was founded in 2003, it is a non-profit organisation that provides a safe space for learners after class ends, where they receive help with their homework and a host of other services and support to ensure they succeed. Since their humble beginnings, they have grown from one branch to more than fifteen and support over 5,000 learners per year through various programmes.

BRIEF

As part of Actuate Group, we were asked to work on the organisation's annual report for  2019. To put together a youthful, vibrant and engaging look and feel for IkamvaYouth that taps back to their brand and that will attract more investors to the organisation.

APPROACH

The cover of the annual report was inspired by the story of all the alumni learners who say they have been enabled by IkamvaYouth to achieve their academic goals and essentially become the professionals they have always dreamt to be. 

The character of the young girl opening up a book and a whole new possibilities and opportunities are unleashed, illustrates this story of IkamvaYouth.
