The thing about ‘old school’ is we like to draw; we like the repetitive days of hatching with pens; of projecting shadow; of crafting on paper. We had our influences; great architects that could make their drawings sing; there were artists too. We have not changed; we rest in the latent past assured of its rectitude. The difference is that we have occupied the space of our shadow projections; we have been translated into the world of black and white and to look back all we see is the sun. The tools have changed but the argument is still the same. We have to project ourselves out of here again.
