You don't have to say YES to everything. Learning to say NOPE when it's for your own benefit is a very crucial skill that a lot of artists lack. I myself did this mistake quite often in the past, i didnt think too much about what im saying YES to, but NOPE just wasn't in my vocabulary and it did hurt my growth as an artist. 🚫
