Mycofoam
An idea-project for the 27th World Congress of Architects installation competition. Mycofoam is a foam-like structure of triaxially symmetric mycelium parts. A total of two opposite elements allow creating a potentially endless structure, limited only by its mass.
The weight of the elements is dispersed most efficiently
using geometry based on 120 degrees, just like water foam in nature.
