Three childhood friends Ákos Pletrich, Gábor Juhász, Tamás Kovács opened their first store in Budapest, the Buda Bakery, in 2010, where we can choose from quality baked goods and coffees. For them, the secret of good hospitality is the personal presence. Often they serve their guests behind the counter themselves. It was necessary to open the store close to their place of residence, in Buda. That is why they choose the BUDAI name, thus launching the BUDAI brand, which has since expanded to include more stores.
After BUDAI Two and BUDAI 3, the previous bakery-café was supplemented with a bistro, EZ IS BUDAI, which offers lunch and dinner. They prepare traditional dishes, but in a slightly different way, as they formulate it, this is a "Hungarian cuisine served in a modern way", which is reflected in the lunch menu as well as in their a’la carte dishes. Exciting meals are provided by Kálmán Fülepi and Dániel Baranyi.
