Popcorn Buckets and Tickets
Bucks, Cavaliers, Knicks, and Lakers Tickets
I chose this subject for the font project because I wanted to recreate and design game tickets for NBA teams. I love professional basketball, so I chose my favorite teams and which teams logo’s I thought looked the most interesting. I then created the popcorn buckets to go along with the tickets. I designed my popcorn buckets by finding a template online and added the stripes of the correct team’s colors on it. I added the current team’s logo as a sticker on each bucket. I designed my tickets by referencing a real NBA ticket but adding the font and logo information instead of the other ticket information. I chose the fonts I did because they were the fonts each teams logo used currently. I chose the really glossy white paper for the tickets because it gave the shine to the tickets. I also chose the thicker white paper because it was sturdy for the popcorn buckets. I think this is a successful piece because it portrayed what I had in mind about the tickets and the buckets from the start of the project.
