NMATH is a non-profit academic organization focused on promoting the interests of students of mathematics at Instituto Superior Técnico. 

 

 

The goal of this project was to create an identity for NMATH. It was very important that the logo had mathematical elements so to reflect the purpose of the organization.

 

Platonic solids were chosen because of their visual appeal and their mathematical value, establishing a bond between design and mathematics.

 

There is one particular characteristic in this project: there isn't one logo but four. The diffent iterations are inspired in four of the five platonic solids. All logos are intended be used with the same frequency in order to give the same relevance to all iterations.
