To quit smoking is a journey. Similar to a game, there are several challenges you have to face to achieve your goal and win.

The Villains

Quitting is too hard and smokers are often facing the battle alone.

The level of difficulty of quitting is too high and It’s a burden too heavy to carry solo. This is especially true since we’re talking about not only fighting against smoking but also its dreadful retainers which are:

And the nefarious being that stands above them all..

Smoke King, which is the source of the problem and the main antagonist of the quest. He is the most dangerous villain that exists and the direct enemy of the users and the system.

To combat these villains, we have heroes who will venture on this quest to defeat Smoke King and his cronies

The battle against withdrawal symptoms can be a solo fight, but

Having the right Kazama at Gabay and knowing may Karamay ka, smokers can easily Win Against Smoking Dependency.

So what makes an effective support system for our smokers to quit?

To help equip our Player 2’s for the battles ahead, we have guidelines or infographics on how they can be an effective support system to our Player 1.

How to support a Quitter

These aim to develop campaign awareness and educate our Players.

Facebook Frame

To show the courage of our Players for rising up to the challenge, we have created customized Facebook frames for this campaign. This will stand as an insignia of their bravery for facing the difficult journey of quitting.

Facebook Mini Games

For side quests, we have gifs mini games. A Roulette of Helpful Tips and Complete the Image where you have to take a screenshot and post it in the comments that will be posted on Facebook to strengthen the engagement of all Players.

Link ads and Quit Site

Link Ads will be posted where Players can be transported to the Quit Site where they can sign up, find information and get the support to help them quit smoking successfully. Another link ad will redirect Players to the app store where they can download the Quit App

Quit App

To help monitor their progress during the #CoOpToQuit Challenge, we will partner up with Quit Smoking app: Smoke Free. Users will have a quit buddy to help them get motivated into quitting and support them when facing the challenges of quitting.

Facebook Online Community Cover

For maximum support, we want to build a community of brave heroes to support each other in their own journey to a smoke free life. The Facebook group will function as a forum where members can ask and answer questions and give praise and support for every milestone they’ve overcome.

Exhibition Poster

To commemorate overcoming the challenges of quitting we want to host an exhibit wherein former smokers will let go of their lighters as a metaphor for leaving that lifestyle behind.

Tournament

An epic battle between local gaming personalities will be streamed as part of a fundraiser campaign. Watchers are encouraged to donate and all proceeds will go directly to the Lung Center of the Philippines.

Project Groot

With the rise of the number of "Plantitas" and "Plantitos". Smokers who will sign up in Quitsite, quitline, or CARES will be given a sprout. This can be a healthier alternative activity to smoking that will also help purify the toxic air they were used to inhaling.
