Brief
Little Big Planet 3's intro cut scene is about imagination and creativity. This is based off of the game itself where players are able to go through unique obstacle levels and also create their own player levels for everyone in the world to experience. I used this cut scene to create my kinetic typography.
Challenges
I needed to find an interesting way to use typography to illustrate the meanings behind each word. I had to make sure that the words that were important were more visually emphasized and also figure out what kind of colour scheme to use throughout the video. I wanted to make my theme under the same meaning behind the cut scene.
Solution
I used bright and vibrant colours to create my video as well as using different fonts and speed to emphasize specific words that stood out to me. This created more illustration and meaning behind the typography. In addition, I also added motion graphics to help highlight or replace words that I thought could have been emphasized through visual and illustrations.
