Another quick weekend project of a concept for a tool tray. I wanted to create a very simple shape with few parts exploring sheet metal for the main body.
Inspiration came from vintage tool boxes, Scandinavian design and other sheet metal products. The design language is clean and classic with a bit of an industrial take. The wooden handle brings some warmth to the touch when handling the tool tray.
Can be used as an office accessory to keep your desk organized or take some beating as a tool tray for your home.
