PT Vagaluz é uma história em quadrinhos produzida entre 2015 e 2016. De objetivo exploratório, foi um dos primeiros grandes projetos reproduzidos em caráter pessoal, sem envolvimento de clientes.
Para tornar a história em quadrinhos possível, me uni ao grade amigo e ilustrador Raul Aguiar para formarmos o selo Rochedo Press, assinando assim a publicação homônima que serviu de suporte às histórias de Vagaluz e de seu primeiro quadrinho, Timo. O projeto foi viabilizado através de um financiamento coletivo no Catarse.
EN Vagaluz is a comic produced between 2015 and 2016. With an exploratory objective, it was one of the first large projects I did without a client's involvement.
To make this comic possible, I teamed up with my friend and great illustrator Raul Aguiar to form the Rochedo Press label, thus signing the homonymous publication that supported the stories of Vagaluz and his also first comic, Timo. The project was financially made possible through crowdfunding at Catarse.
A luz em você
PT A HQ conta a história de um vagalume em busca de outras luzes. No seu caminho, encontra diferentes fontes de luz que o levam a experienciar múltiplas sensações.
The light on you
EN The comic tells the story of a firefly in search of other lights. On his way, he encounters different sources of light that lead him to experience multiple sensations.
Campaign teaser
PT Antes da jornada real, o teaser abaixo foi compartilhado nas redes sociais mesmo sem um título. Poucas consoantes somadas à pequenas luzes representavam o que estava por vir.
EN Even before the true journey starts, without a title, the first drafts were based on the word "vagalume", which means "firefly" and a few letters to represent it.
Ongoing campaign
PT Durante os meses seguintes o material de divulgação, recompensas e simulações passaram a misturar o conteúdo final com os processos. O teaser se tornou um pôster distribuído aos apoiadores.
EN During the following months, the promotional material, rewards and mockups began to mix the final content with the processes. The teaser became a poster distributed to supporters.
