ILIAT School
A brand new visual identity
ILIAT School is an educational center based in Hanoi which provides English classes & IELTS, GMAT and CFA prep courses. In 2019, the center has expanded more than 5 nationwide establishments. The primary aim was to recreate ILIAT's logo to suit with its positioning - Youth, as well as develop a new coherent brand identity system.
Before
The initial logo of ILIAT is built on a serif and thin typeface, which made it difficult for outsourced designers to adapt the logo to different platforms. Furthermore due to the lack of brand guideline, the design appealed to be inconsistent in term of colors, illustrations, and font combination.
After
The logo was changed to a sans-serif typeface to make it more flexible and adaptable to various digital touchpoints, and a new guideline was created to ensure the consistency in digital and printed communications.
Besides the significant orange, the team decided to create a new set of visual communication for ILIAT's sub brands, which are the IELTS, CFA, and GMAT courses. Each courses is differed by its own color inspired by the color of its original logo.
