Conception/Corporate Design for a classical music edition.
The edition features the “Best of Composers" like e.g. Beethoven, Bach or Tschaikowsky. Each composer receives his own Best-Of CD and each song included in those Best-Of CDs is visualized by a bar on the cover. Every color represents an instrument, while the structure of every bar depends on the time when the instruments are used.
In this way an individual pattern is created for every composer, reflecting the structure of his music, thus giving you the possibility to compare particular songs or the composers themselves, going that far that you are even able to see epochal differences through the use of instruments and the structure of the compositions.
