Ever tried sleeping peacefully in a house infested with mosquitoes, where it seems they purposefully come sing near your ears. Don't you want to just kill them in those moments. This ad is a funny take on that situation where the mosquitoes hold up a carnatic music concert while the poor guy tries to sleep. The ad is done with both Stop Motion animation and Live Action Pixilation techniques to create a unique visual aesthetic. This ad was completed in 18 hours from the conceptualization to the final video.

The process started with making concept sketches for the mosquito puppets. The joints and the moving parts were decided . Since the movements were only based near the heads and the hands, the models were made stiff near the legs and were made in a sitting position. The colours were decided during the storyboarding stage.

The storyboarding was a quick one hour job to decide the key frames of the video. The storyboard doubled up as a colour script helping decide the overall look of the ad.
