Rethinking the Schwedenplatz
Designed and produced during my internship in feld72 (Vienna), 2016
The redevelopment of Schwedenplatz – clearly one of Vienna’s most important urban nodes – aims at creating a new zoning by determining five defined segments.
We proposed the following strategy:
1. organising the square, (removing the unnecessary objects, and prepare it for the further reorganisation)
2. visually attach three divided parts of the site (using bright pavement),
3. emphasise the existing elements and create thematic sequences
4. design module pavilions on each square segments.
