ITP- Capture One- Advancing Your Landscape Edits
A fellow student published a post informing us that Capture One was doing a webinar about Advancing Your Landscape Edits.
Since my project involves taking landscape pictures of The Royal Parks. I thought this would be useful and hopefully benefit me in enhancing my editing skills when I have my final images.
Overall I found this webinar quite interesting and helpful whilst teaching me some useful skills and info. Going into depth with the commonly used settings whilst comparing them to other adjustments that may work better.
E.g. Exposure VS Brightness, Exposure is a harsher edit on the image whilst Brightness only effects the mid tones of the images.
One trick I have learnt is the Dehaze tool which eliminates the foggy element by removing the atmospheric haze if its not required in the image. This tool will be useful for my landscapes especially pictures in Richmond park as there tends to be mist early in the morning.
After watching this it has made me want to attend more webinars and improve my skills on Capture One.
