Project:
While working in Lane County Public Health, I was asked to create graphics to promote vaccine confidence in Black Communities in the Eugene/Springfield area.
My Process/Challenges:
I had more creative freedom with these graphics vs. the other images I've been asked to create for Public Health. This project holds significance because it was created to due to the tragic history regarding vaccines in the Black community. I wanted to make sure it contained the right representation and was also empowering for those who it applies to. I gathered images of Black women and added a bandage representing the COVID-19 vaccine.
