Based on the theme "We make it simple" for the Art of Nurture 2011 Lloyds TSB awards and got the peoples choice Award.
I always over work my pieces, never knowing when to call it a day. I did so much more work on this piece and then striped it all back again because you don't need all that detail. Our mind creates the rest of what is not there. I suppose this is more about what isn't there as to what is.
It's harder to take something out of a piece than to add to it.
