I got ahold of the photo book “el secreto de los sarayaku” by Misha Vallejo, who basically has the approach I want to give my project but instead of having a social and general community focus, I want to focus more on the women of these communities, whilst depicting a story of the place they habit.

 

This book has helped me understand how to use colour in such an environment, where visual information is so saturated. This is something I was struggling with as I shot a black and white project before and I decided I wanted to do a project in colour.
