A brief overview of the work I did on McDonalds' promotion for 'Transformers Cyberverse'. The show was into its second season, and the toy was to have a lenticular chest area. The motion of the lenticular image was to compliment the robot's ability to 'transform'. I was tasked to make the figures closer to the show's style guide model, as well as meet all the normal health and safety requirements for a Happy meal toy. I also worked closely with Hasbro in creating virgin graphics for the chest lenticular, as some of these designs were unique and not in the style guides.
During the development, we realised the scale of the toy didn't lend itself to a 4 stage lenticular, so I had to simplify the animated movement to a 3 stage lenticular.
