ABOUT THE PROJECT
What once took years to age, Oak Bottle transformed into mere days for consumers to experience a one-of-a-kind finished batch of superior quality of their favourite wine and spirit. To achieve this, the brand created an innovative way of delivering 12 years of the traditional ageing process into a 12-days result of a product with the same plaudits for the finest drinks. Oak Bottle invites everyone to become acknowledged barrel experts within one bottle at home, unveiling old secrets from sophisticated distilleries and châteaux. Unlike the traditional vessels, Oak Bottle can be used over and over again, and that practical reusability let us integrate the concept of time into the full product packaging experience, which starts with the product itself.
CLIENT NEEDS
The slender height of the oak bottle allows liquids to be adjacent to the inside walls to ensure fast maturation. Yet, the spirit or wine still needs to be closely watched for improving the process. And here, the portrayed hourglass indirectly speaks about measuring that time passage. The box packaging sides depict day and night - the infinite time interpretation; or numerous times of near-endless explorations of spirits. And the backside reveals the brand story behind with the instructions one should follow to swig a mouthful of drink with relish afterwards. If paying a little heed to the box, the illustrations unite with one line that may be interpreted as the closely related connection from day one till the last moment of continuous ageing and tasting. The dark colour palette chosen reinforce the idea of a rich and satisfying product. As the whole acquaintance with the blends that start with timeless and mystical adventure on the package.
