The San Francisco Olympians Festival Elaine of Astolat 2019

Here are the initial sketch works and how I settled on how I wanted the overall piece to feel. I went from a front facing observant character portrait to an over the should look.

Here is where I added my background finial piece of the river near where Elaine of Astolat also known as the Lady of Shallot was on her death barge. I like to add as much useful symbology such as the language of flowers.
