Ficus is a skincare brand which provides organic and natural products for men. The brand focuses on providing simple and organic products which aren't manipulated or mixed with any harmful chemical process which makes it extremely safe to use.

Brand Vision — Ficus aspires to become one of the most trustworthy and safest brand to be known with organic skincare products.
About the project
This is an academic branding project assigned to design the visual identity for a hypothetical brand. The elements like text, photography and colours are used to define the brand personality.
Design/Solution
The name of the brand “Ficus" came from a species of plant “Ficus Benjamina” which is known as symbol of peace, unity, and universal understanding. The design of the brand relates to the harmless qualities of nature which is handled by trustworthy and professional care. The brand logo is a simple wordmark in its primary typeface which reflects simplicity and helps forming trust with the products. The other elements are based on the simplified forms of nature and yet slightly leaning towards the professional and formal design.
Colours
The colours are based on the brand personalities and they all relates to natural elements such as leaves, sky, ocean etc. The colour blue gives a sense of peace, trust and reliability, while green is associated with nature and brings tranquility and harmony. Lastly, the colour charcoal black reflects certain seriousness about the brand.
Patterns and Typography
The patterns are inspired from the natural elements like tree bark and leaves. The curvy and wavy lines reflect the feeling of organic and informal simplicity. One of the primary brand graphic is derived from the lines of tree section.The characters of the primary typeface also has that curvy and simple form which relates with the other elements of design.
