READY PLAYER ONE.
ILLUSTRATION
One of my favourite films to come out in 2018 was Ready Player One. From the story to visuals, the whole concept was thrilling to watch.
I decided to create an illustration from one of the key moments in the film, when Percival receives Halliday's Egg after collecting all 3 keys. I had recently bought in iPad PRO and Apple Pen, and wanted to experiment with Procreate, the digital illustration app and create an illustration depicting this scene.
This was my first attempt at creating a piece of work from scratch with no reference images, just what I remember from the film. With the additional textures and lighting effects on the final iteration, i am very happy with the outcome and thought id share it on my portfolio.
