The project emerges from the need to give life to a 4.000 m² site in a prime and extremely busy area of São Paulo City. Due to the temporality of the project, the use of shipping containers was chosen, as they could be easily removed without damaging the site. The area used to be a parking, so it was already planned and paved, thus enabling the rapid implantation of the modules. The Food Park also gave way to other activities such as yoga classes, carpentry workshops and music shows.
