This Fortnite web comic series started out as a way for me to experiment with the Adobe Photoshop Sketch and Adobe Illustrator Draw but picked up traction on Reddit fairly quickly. I started an Instagram page and challenged myself to create 1-3 comics a week until I made 100. Around the episode 45 mark, I discovered Procreate which is now my go-to digital painting software. I refined my skills and optimised my workflow utilising the handy shortcuts and capabilities that Procreate offers. My inspiration for comic ideas gradually diminished as I played Fortnite less and less, yet I continued to make the comics and pushed myself to achieve the personal goal I had set. I enjoyed interacting with my followers who gave plenty of praise, suggestions and criticism and was the main motivator for me throughout this project.
