Oatmilk: Art Collective - Final Project

Oatmilk Art Collective would be an organization that aims to support and provide a platform for artists/creators who have been marginalized by the cis-hetero-white-male dominated art and design industries.
The truck serves primarily as an art gallery space that showcases local artwork. Oatmilk would be a way of breaking away from the idea that artists are only successful if their work is shown in high-end galleries and magazines, and thus would allow for less restriction on the artists themselves as well as less restriction on access to art.
Besides showcasing artwork, the truck could serve artists by selling work (paintings, sculptures, zines, prints, CDs/mixtapes, clothing, etc.) and Oatmilk could also collaborate on events with the local music scene and accompany bands/musicians at outdoor shows to support the local performative and musical artists. It would support the communities it visits by providing access to art and creating a welcoming community to those who have not been able to find a space they feel included in.
Overall, Oatmilk is essentially meant to be a community that focuses on artistic expression, mutual-aid, and anti-oppression.
