The logo  PEREN  has been created within the framework of an online contest 
launched on the platform BrandSupply. I won this contest with the logo hereunder.

The logo was intended for a checkout software. The company had one main requirement: to convey through the logo the ideas of longevity and resilience.

I decided to use the Lebanese cedar as an inspirational basis, as this tree is famously known for its longevity. I remodeled and simplified the cedar symbol used on the Lebanese flag, as shown below.​​​​​​​
The color was then changed for a blue gradient. The blue color was chosen as it conveys very well the idea of "trust" (in the software, in this case).


On the company's request, a website rendering with this graphic identity was provided.
The client then asked for a plain blue version. They also wished to change the font used for the name PEREN. After offering 15 alternatives with different fonts and 4 others with different blue hues, they opted for an "European" blue, leading to the logo's final version shown below.
