Rovigo 920
the discovery begins
Rovigo 920 is a brand identity project developed for the Municipality of Rovigo, to celebrate the 1100th anniversary of the construction of the city's castle.
The first documented trace of Rovigo is to be traced back to 920 when, through a bull, Pope John X authorized the bishop Paolo Cattaneo, lord of those lands at the time, to build a fortification to defend his church.
Rovigo 920 rediscovers and tells the history of the city, stimulating curiosity towards cultural sites that represent the evidence of important stages in the growth of the city and the evolution of its community; enhances the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the city to strengthen a new identity image that, through the rediscovery of its origins and the past, places the city in a new light.

Secondary logos
Rovigo 920 aims to enhance not only the city castle but also five other important and institutional places. The project, therefore, involved the construction of the identity of three of these that did not have one.
