GURU is a Dublin City University (DCU) start up that created an examination suite to provides a solution for the exam paper process in third-level institutions. The success of the system saw it become an integral part of the University IT systems set up in addition to being adopted by 5 other national institutions.
The brief was to re-brand the GURU Exam suite for the purpose of commercialisation. The visual identity required both print and digital applications for external and internal systems. The budget was lean so we had to prioritise certain parts of the system that would see most exposure at launch. I am proud of this project because it was my first piece of paid freelance work before any formal graphic design education. It was also a major factor my decision to go back to college to retrain.
