"Tết" means Lunar New Year in Vietnam, "Bao lì xì" means lucky money/ lucky envelope which a cultural feature of Vietnamese people. Giving lucky money is a form of exchanging wishes and good luck at the beginning of the year.
TÊT & TÔT is a wordplay that condenses the content of this project: Wishing everyone a better year 2021. ("TÔT" is a furniture company based in Vietnam, and its name means good things.)
2021 is the year of buffalo according to the Lunar calendar, called "Tân Sửu". Buffalo is a species symbolizing the health, hard work, happiness, strength and martial spirit of the Vietnamese.
So this design appears the image of the buffalo's head with a minimalistic style, hope you like that.
