SENSING SYDNEY SOUNDS 
 
The brief was to create a solution for ‘The City of Sydney’ client, to assist in the noise management throughout the city in Sydney, however still maintaining cultural activity. This project explores ways of helping to shift the initial perception that the city is always loud, noisy and unmanageable by re connecting people with the city. 
 
Litesounds is a responsive installation of the real time and environment of the city. Sensor sound system monitors the area and captures live data that would show how sound changes over time. A campaign and launch event was created for this project in making people aware and educating them on how to control and observe sound in a positive manner.
