This series was done for a calendar for Fundament All Media, (Groningen, The Netherlands). It was also part of the development of the corporate identity: the style also was to feature an illustration style for infographics, which we used to do a lot. I wanted it to be a logical system of colours and lines and compositions etc.

The theme of the illustration is: all the ways social media - and being connected in general -  determines our lives. And there is also a nice connection with the seasons of course...

I got a lot of criticism of the very tightly defined (and withheld) colour scheme and so the year after this calendar I made another one with a lot more use of colours and gradients. And everybody was happy again.
