A series of pop-culture riffs embedded onto vintage screens. ‘Some relatable opuses to tune into’ provide a connection in a time of disconnect with a quote. A line. A lyric.
Using popular culture references and carefully selected lyrics, I created my own interpretations to display onto ‘old-school’ large back TVs (flatscreen? Never heard of it). The intention was to remind and connect via familiar textures and emulative sounds, Vs. what we’ve been accustomed to in present day, with overly elegant technology. A blast from the past. Nostalgia reigns.
Illustrations created in Adobe Illustrator. Then reworked in Adobe Photoshop. Before Animating in Adobe After Effects. Do forgive me, I am new to After Effects.
